Well, we're talking about Grealish, so he's one and Ndiaye is the other.
McNeil won't be here so there's only a kid that obviously needs time to develop.

As you included the two I was talking about then, in your scenario, the only player coming in would be a pacy one

Why would we commit to our biggest wages for a player that doesnt directly solve our problem. We are desperate for pace and we signed grealish and dibling for our second biggest fee ever and our current biggest wages. We need to just concentrate on solving the problems we actually have.

We're desperate for better footballers.

It would be just as big a mistake to buy players who's only attribute was speed.

Id prefer to come equipped with multiple tools to break down different defences personally

Two rapid fullbacks sorts out two slow wingers. Chuck in a pacy forward and BINGO(ALS)!

Moyes talking about the need for height to combat set pieces makes me worry we won't see pacy full backs, but 6 foot somethings that are defensively sound above all else.

Oh and Thomas Soucek.

I would say it is just shit defending generally, other teams can do it without a BFG at fullback.

And Pickford looks all at sea on corners.

Flying full backs are dead in this league.

Diouf at West Ham has been ok Munoz is great but is more of a right mid but other than them I don’t think there’s anyone else.

It’s all centre halves and centre mids in the premier league at full back these days.

Pickford looks all at sea on corners because the defenders are too concerned with pushing shoving pulling shirts etc than
A) marking their man/space
B) if zonal protecting their zone
C) attacking the ball
D) protecting the keeper
E) actual defending….

Lewis hall just dropped for Dan burn

Liveamento always injured. If you consider Newcastle as playing two flying full backs then you could say that’s why they’re down in 14th.

Robinson been rubbish this season
Rico Henry always injured
Timber a centre half turned full back
White a centre half turned full backs

Now go name me the amount of centre mids or centre halves who are playing at full back.

Or the full backs who are asked to either sit in the defence to make a back three, or go into the midfield.
