Yep, let’s assume the worst tonight and Scotland get beat, the final section of this article looks at what Scotland need to happen in each group and believe or not for the first time in history they won’t want England’s opponents to beat England in this round of fixtures. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/ar ... gyqvxxqveo

Patto starting again.

Shankland up front, he's going to need help from McTominay.

I mean, do you really want to get dumped out of the world cup with Adams and Dykes up front?

Patterson v Vinicius will be something though.

Quite a brave starting lineup, though surprised Hanley is benched.

No Hanley as well, it's not all doom and gloom. 🙂

Disappointed with that result.

Really poor all around for the 2nd Swiss goal.

Would have been great to play our next match in Canada but still through which was the goal. Past the next round is a big success for Canada.

Think Scotland should be able to depend on these groups. Will have to hope some other groups help them out.

Group E: Germany v Ecuador / Ivory Coast v Curacao

Germany 6
Ivory Coast 3
Ecuador 1
Curacao 1

---

Group H: Spain v Uruguay / Cape Verde v Saudi Arabia

Spain 4
Uruguay 2
Cape Verde 2
Saudi Arabia 1

---

There are a couple of groups where where they're both on 3 points and play each other, so you'd assume they'll just play out draws.

Group D: Australia v Paraguay
Group J: Austria v Algeria

---

E, H, A and G I could see having fewer than 3 points for their 3rd place, so definitely on for Scotland even if they lose here.
