Easy to be wise after the fact, but no news about Beto felt like it was going to lead to this happening.

Can't see it being anyone other than Barry? I mean who else would it be? Ndiaye up top with McNeil and Geroge (or Dibling)? Seems highly unlikely. KDH playing as a false 9 and we bring in Tim or Rohl into the middle or is Alcaraz actually fit again?

It also means we're very limited in who else we can bring in from the subs bench too.

Any chance of Braiden getting a spot on the bench do you think? Just give him a look in before a loan spell next season maybe.

Moyes pretty much shot down the idea of him being ready with his comments I believe. So, no. Unless it's some elaborate ruse...but I'd doubt that.

Keane up top tomorrow, JOB in with Tarks and give Seamus a run to see if he can earn a new contract next season.

He also hinted at Graham Sharp getting ready too, just watched the presser, I really wouldn’t be surprised to see something different tomorrow, I hope so anyway.

Can't be assed with Barry. Why can't we try Ndiaye or Alcaraz as the false 9.

George on the left and McNeil on the right if Ndiaye goes up top.

Probably because we paid 25m for him and he does actually have 6 prem goals or something I mean…he does look like he’s jacked it but he’s a cf, we need a cf to play. We need him to put a performance in as well tbh so fingers crossed he does.

It will definitely be Barry playing and hopefully he's motivated and determined to prove something. If we don't win this one, we're probably not beating City and then Europe looks highly unlikely.

He’s looked about as motivated and up for it as Dibling since he got here so doubt it will change now - could see his name being boo’d if he starts and the game being the nail in the coffin on his time here.

Absolutely disgraceful to phone it in when brought on in a derby whilst chasing Europe

Obviously yes, but it's very different starting a game (and training all week with the knowledge you're likely to start) from coming on towards the end of a derby.

We've seen periods of quality from him at times during the season. We need him to show that again. As you say, if he doesn't demonstrate a significant upturn in these last few games, and win a few people back, I can't imagine Moyes being too enamoured with him for the future. Only way he can change the narrative is score some important goals for us.

I mean, there were boos when he came on in the derby so I'd be amazed if he wasn't bood if he plays tomorrow.

You’ve got to be mentally deficient to do this honestly

Big blow Beto being out, game went away from us when he went off against the shite. Good opportunity for Barry to silence the boo boys, just not sure he's got the stomach for the fight.

Walking up the lakes today and going to try and avoid the scores, anyone know how long before the full 90 is available through Toffee TV?
