If you're grappling could you potentially just catch the ball then? It's such a stupid rule because if all that stops it being a penalty is for you to be grappling then you could just basically spin it on your finger like an NBA player and not be penalised.

As always the over complication of rules has led to a ridiculous situation transpiring, and as always seems to be the case, we're the team who is disadvantaged by it.
