The final place in the 26-man squad is expected to go to Myles Lewis-Skelly, Trent Alexander-Arnold or James Garner.....
Skelly should be in over Dan fucking Burn already
Garner should be instead of Henderson
26th spot should go to MGW

Not really sure how you justify Eze ahead of MGW tbh.

Similar positions. One has played 3,000 minutes with 14 goals and 4 assists. The other 1,900 minutes with 7 goals and 2 assists.

I do rate Eze but come on.

Hopefully they exit the tournament nice and early, and we can concentrate on enjoying the footie without the England bandwagon getting in the way.

Also had a look at the group fixtures today. I reckon I'll watch less than 10 of them. Going to be a rough world cup.

Also are the stadiums even going to be full? they've got like Switzerland v Qatar in 70,000 seaters. Can't see locals paying $200 to watch that.

What’s the starting 11 likely to be?

Pickford/James Konsa Guehi O’Reilly/Anderson Rice Bellingham/Saka Gordon Kane?

Fear we would see Everton levels of possession for England against a Spain or Portugal

Think Kane is the only player even in the conversation for best in the world in his position out of anyone in our squad

Just need a goalkeeper and a centre forward, and you could make a very good team out of the players NOT picked.

Looks about right. Maybe Stones ahead of Konsa and Rashford ahead of Gordon, but otherwise 9 of them are nailed on.

The groups are a joke. Was thinking its almost impossible for decent sides not to finish top 2 then it turns out most of the thirds go through too. Absolute waste of time

dan burn ffs - i would have understood tuchel picking maguire over burn for experience and goalscoring ability from set pieces
agree with eze though match winner that does fuckall during a match but provides that one moment of rogue natural instinct abilty to score from the impossible
