Hey - he’s not bad, is he? Couldn’t fault him for any of that. Anything that didn’t come off exactly right was due to massive pressure from at least one defender - and even under pressure he got a lot of right - keeping possession, putting it into good areas.

I love his goal celebration and I hope we see a lot more of it!

It's a weird one, but it's almost like young players from abroad need time to adapt to new leagues before they are dismissed as ''crap''.

Not sure I'd agree with that tbh. I think more that it looks like that same player has developed and settled and improved. Not that it was guaranteed to happen of course, but the signs were there.

He needs to maintain Monday's level now though, that's the important part.
