I don't know about you, I've been particularly shocked by this news cos it's someone whose playing days I remember well. I don't know what the answer is but I don't think football can go on like it is now, pretending there isn't a problem at all.

55's very young to get it and does bring it home when it's a player you remember playing and is only a bit older than I am.
Dementia, alzheimer's and MND scare the absolute shit out of me.

Horrible that. Having seen what it did to a sprightly active mum, it petrifies me too. I mean she was a good age but no-one deserves to go through what she went through, it’s pure evil.

Yeah dementia, Alzheimer’s and MND are absolutely frightening. Both my parents died of cancer and yet I’m not scared of being diagnosed with that at all. But those…..nah
