Like Tim Howard and Louis Saha, Neville also made the trip down the M62 from Old Trafford to Goodison Park, in the summer of 2005. After Everton’s miraculous season the previous year, Moyes brought in a fair number of faces to help the club in the Champions League. Phil Neville was made skipper shortly after his arrival and has played mainly at right back and centre midfield in his time at Goodison. Noted for his professionalism and excellent leadership skills, Neville is one of Moyes’ favourite players and one of the first on the team sheet.
