Ramirez was hot property in the summer but has struggled to make an impact at Everton despite a strong showing in pre-season, and although Sam Allardyce has hinted that he would be expecting more from the Spaniard, he has only given him limited game time in the Premier League so far.
Now, Malaga head coach Michel has weighed in on the debate over Sandro’s future.
“I’m hopeful,” said the Malaga boss.
“Players play where they want, and I think Sandro wants to come and play for Malaga again.
“From there, everything is subjective and depends on certain situations and negotiations.”
