The Guardian newspaper yesterday reported that Brondby pair Johan Elmander and Daniel Agger could be on there way to Goodison Park for a reported £7m.
With stories surfacing today about Chairman Bill Kenwright having spoken to Manchester City over the possible approach to Sylvain Distin, and the City chairman stating that Everton were in discussons with another defender, could boss David Moyes be on the verge of bringing in another young unproven defender to partner the excellent Joseph Yobo?
With City wanting a potential transfer value of up to £7m, including the possible “make weight” of Marcus Bent, Moyes could be torn between Premiership experience and losing one of his players; and bringing in two un-proven players without losing a most hard-working attacker, the kind of which the club could do with adding to, rather than selling.
