According to The Sun, that well known bastian of all things true and credible, David Moyes is lining up a “swoop” for Manchester United striker Louis Saha.
They claim that the clubs are close to sealing a £6.5m deal for the player United famously ripped from the clutch of Fulham by virtue of the press “leaking” a story that they were interested in the over-rated Frenchman.
United paid £12m for his services in January 2004, the first in a trio of “Judas” strikers to join the “Old Trafford Yankee’s” as they like to be known, that year.
On the upside, this could of course all be a big rouse on the part of Ferguson and Moyes to get either Newcastle of Tottenham lumbered with the injury prone player, as they seem to jump on top of any player David Moyes declares even a passing interest in!
