Our man in Spain, having travelled to Granada by plane, and then by car across the plain, is now safely on his train heading for his destination with thousands of like-minded blues.
Watty spent the day in Valencia old town, along with up to around 5,000 other Evertonians enjoying the Spanish hospitality before heading to the train station for the final leg of his the journey to Villarreal by train.
It would appear though, that before the next stage of his journey, his “safety t-shirt” has made him some friends, and he had a queue of almost two people waiting to have their photo taken in the now-famous NSNO t-shirt!
Now, we’re not saying Evertonians drink a lot, or even that Watty drinks a lot (he’s behaving himself, honest Mrs Watty!) – but the journey between Valencia and Villarreal on a train without toilets has done it’s best to “dampen” spirits, but the singing continues, although Royal Blue Mersey is probably being left out of the repetoire – rivers, water, desperate need for a toilet. Bad news.
The hoards of Evertonians should arrive at Villarreal sometime before 8pm local time, before making their way to the ground, when we will bring you another thrilling installment of “Where’s Watty”
Evertonians wait patiently for the train to Villarreal
