David Moyes has insisted that Duncan Ferguson will not rush his decision to quit football, the possibility of which was revealed by Moyes last week.
Moyes said, “Duncan is still here and wants to have a think about things over the next few weeks.
“He has had a better week’s training this week and he might feel a little bit better.
“Duncan is an old enough professional to know his body and we will see how he is after the next week or so.”
“Duncan has felt that it is catching up with him a little bit.
“The games in which he has come on he has felt he is not making an impact in the games.
“He has missed training before three of the games in the last month.
“He has only trained on the Thursday or Friday, so he has not been fit or he has been unwell, and that may not have helped the situation.”
