Everton goalkeeping coach Chris Woods has been out and about watching potential goalkeeping stars of the future in the past couple of weeks, and has been paying particular attention to Shrewsbury Town goalkeeper Joe Hart.
Woods was in the stands at Rochdale last weekend to see Shrewsbury lose 4-3, and is also believed to have attended a training session at Shrewsbury to watch the talented 18-year-old at closer quarters.
Everton aren’t alone in their interest in Hart, however, as it is also believed that Manchester City boss Stuart Pearce took his goalkeeping coach Tim Flowers along to a series of matches to assess the England Under 19 stopper.
Moyes highlighted at the AGM that he was after another goalkeeper, but is buying yet another young keeper from the lower leagues the answer when we have two chomping at the bit to get into the side?
