With David Moyes watching Cardiff against Sheffield United ealier this weekend, sat next to Sam Hamman, it was only a matter of time before the rumours started about just who it was he was watching.
Obvious choice would be Cardiff striker Cameron Jerome, who has set the Championship alight this season, and could be prized away from Cardiff for a the kind of fee that is well within Everton’s price range.
Cardiff manager Dave Jones doesn’t sound too hopeful about keeping his latest starlet, saying, “We might have to sell people to bring in more.
“That’s what we had to do last year. There were certain players we didn’t want to let go, but to survive as a football club you’ve got to do that.”
