The Independent is reporting that Harry Redknapp could join Arsene Wenger in testing Everton’s resolve in keeping Phil Jagielka at Goodison Park.
The Spurs manager has an injury-plagued back four who have had a torrid time in pre-season games, and with Champions League football up for grabs this season, Redknapp will want to shore up his leaky defence.
Jagielka has already been the subject of a £14m bid from Arsenal that was rejected, and the Independent claims Spurs could be ready to come in with a £15m bid soon.
Could this spark a bidding war which would lead to an offer Everton were unable to refuse?
