David Moyes admits that he does not believe he will be allowed to spend the money raised through the sale of Mikel Arteta in January.
The Everton boss confirmed what many believed and says the money has most likely been used to satisfy the banks’ growing hunger to recoup some of the money they have lent to Everton.
When asked if he would be able to spend the money raised through the sale of Arteta, Moyes said, “I don’t think that is going to be the case.
“I think everybody knew at the time that the bank wanted the money. People knew that really.”
