David Moyes is apparently casting his eye over 24 year old French international Aly Cissokho as a replacement if he loses Leighton Baines this summer.
The media seem determined that Baines will go to Old Trafford over the summer, and claim Moyes is resigned to losing his prized asset.
Cissokho plies his trade in France for Lyon at left back, although his transfer there in 2009 almost broke down due to having dodgy teeth (!) he signed a five year deal and so will cost actual money to bring to Everton. At the time, Inter Milan tried to hijack the move and take him to the San Siro.
If, however, Bill Kenwright manages to get the price for Baines up to some kind of reasonable level, then perhaps Moyes could work his magic in the transfer window again.
