Syvain Distin EvertonEverton defender Sylvain Distin is glad that the Blues are returning to a 3 o’clock kick off for the next game in the Premier League.

The Blues star has also said that he wants his team to bounce back after the defeat at Manchester City last weekend, and that a 3pm game is the best way to do it.

“It’s another big game,” said Distin. “As I keep saying, there is no game more important than any other in the league.

“But obviously we want to do well at home, so we need to catch up after the defeat to City.

“We want a big turn out, as always.  To me, 3pm seems to be the normal time and I have to say I don’t really like it when we play earlier or later than three.

“I have my own habits – when I wake up, when I eat, when I do this, when I do that – and I just enjoy it when the game is at 3pm.

“I think the fans are the same. Everyone has their own habits and their own way to do certain things before the games and it changes everything when you’re playing later or earlier.”

NSNO will be offering a chance to win two tickets to the Hull game later on this afternoon, so stay tuned for more details.
