Roberto Martinez has said that Everton will not sell their best players in the coming transfer window.
Leighton Baines is approaching the final year of his contract next summer, and is constantly linked with a move away from Goodison Park, but the Everton manager says he wants to keep his side together.
He said: “No. We were at that stage in the summer , but once Marouane Fellaini and Victor Anichebe left, that gave us the opportunity to reinvest.
“Now we are in a position where we need a bit of continuity and time to squeeze our potential as a team. That stability is very important for us.”
