Martinez: Oviedo in squad for Swansea

oviedo-trainingRoberto Martinez has improved every Evertonian’s mood today by announcing in his pre-match press conference that Bryan Oviedo will be in the squad for tomorrow’s match against Swansea.

The long term absentee has become a fan favourite following a string of impressive performances before a nasty injury put him out for Everton and the World Cup. The Costa Rican left back has made a good recovery and could well make an appearance although Martinez was quick to state that his re-introduction to the side would be cautious as it has been with Darrn Gibson. In more good news, Everton’s other long term absentee Arouna Kone could also feature as he aims kick start his injury hampered Everton career.
Ross Barkley and Steven Pienaar remain on the injury list with Seamus Coleman also ruled out.
