His agent – and funnily enough the agent of Kevin Mirallas – Christophe Henrotay, stated that Henen would most likely stay on at Everton after his one-year loan from Olympiacos.
He said: “I have to quickly meet Martinez. But all the signals go in the direction of exercising the option (of a permanent deal).
“He really changed beyond all recognition. The reports of Martinez and the U21 coach are very favourable. Both praise his mentality, his involvement and his integration.”
Henen signed for Olympiacos on deadline day last season after spending the whole summer at Finch Farm, and was then immediately loaned to the Blues by the Greek side.
