The England Under 21 left back impressed many Evertonians with his performances during last term, particularly in the Europa League and when he got his chance to replace Leighton Baines in the Premier League.
However, there had been wranglings over a new deal with the Blues, and he sat out the last two games of the season with Brendan Galloway playing at left back instead.
Now, as Everton release details of the players they have released and retained, it has emerged that the club have indeed offered Garbutt a new deal.
Whether he takes it or not is another matter…
