The Anderlecht player was rumoured to be the subject of an enquiry from the Toffees earlier in the summer transfer window, and the Echo believes that the Belgian side have given the Blues a ballpark figure of £10m to land the 21 year old.
Roberto Martinez’s men, however, are said to be in competition for the young winger’s signature with Spanish outfit Sevilla, who have also been quoted the same figure if they want to prize Praet away from his parent club.
Praet, a product of the Anderlecht youth system, has appeared on 132 occasions for Les Mauves et Blancs, scoring 21 times in the process, and has a solitary cap for the Belgian national side.
