The Blues have one of the strongest squads in three decades at the club under Martinez, but are so far failing to show that strength on the pitch, but the manager says that everyone needs to come together and get behind the team.
He highlighted the excellent away support at Manchester City on Wednesday night for the League Cup semi final as an example of the way Evertonians can get behind the team, and said that everyone involved in the club needs to band together to stay strong.
“The way we got supported on Wednesday, our fans were incredible,” he said.
“We were so strong for long spells over those two legs against Manchester City and it shows that we are on the right path.
“Now we need to be resilient, strong and help each other and it is not going to be easy winning titles after such a long period not doing it, it is a process that needs to be achieved and hard work in the hard moments is vital towards achieving that.
“It is not easy because you need to cope with negative feelings and criticism, it is normal, but everyone at the football club – and the fans particularly – need to develop a strong belief in these players and everyone at Everton because everyone has the right focus to achieve.
“We will get there, if we get that inner strength.”
