Everton will jet off to Doha for a mid-season break after Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup tie at Bournemouth.
The Toffees, who will enjoy a warm weather training camp for the third successive year, will fly out on Sunday after their fifth round clash at Dean Court.
And manager Roberto Martinez is planning an intensive course of training for his first team squad before the players return to Merseyside on Friday February 26th.
The Blues are looking to take advantage of the break in domestic proceedings due to Liverpool’s participation in the League Cup final in ten days time.
Everton were set to face their Merseyside rivals on the weekend of February 27th, but will now make the most of the trip to the Middle East before their March 1st encounter with Aston Villa.
