The agent of Ronald Koeman as told reporters that Everton have opened talks with Southampton over a deal to bring the Dutchman to Goodison Park as manager.
Everton are believed to be willing to offer big money to Koeman in a bid to make him the next boss after sacking Roberto Martinez last month, but he is yet to speak with the club.
Farhad Moshiri is believed to be leading the negotiations with the Southampton board as a compensation deal with have to be brokered with the Saints to allow Everton to speak with Koeman, who has a year left on his contract at St Mary’s.
