Southampton had originally been believed to have refused Everton permission to speak with the Dutchman, but his agent has confirmed that Koeman has agreed personal terms on a contract to make him Everton boss.
The deal is believed to be around £120k per week for Koeman – or two Seamus Coleman’s – and he is also believed to have been promised a huge transfer budget to rebuild the Everton side.
Everton will now discuss a compensation package with Southampton before announcing the deal.
