Everton are reportedly in talks to sign Spanish forward Lucas Perez from Deportivo La Caruna.
The 27 year old has long been a target of new Director of Football Steve Walsh, who tried to take him to Leicester before joining Everton, and the goal machine is reportedly open to a move to England.
Starting his career in Atletico Madrid’s C team, he scored 18 goals in 55 appearances before going on a bit of a winding journey to end up at Deportivo in 2015.
He has since scored 18 goals in 37 appearances for the La Liga side.
Everton are looking to bolster their attacking options and Lucas could be the kind of signing Steve Walsh has become well known for producing.
