Mirallas fell out of favour under the former manager but has since shown that he is ready to fight for his place, and he hopes he can make Ronald Koeman’s decisions on who to play where difficult.
The Belgian says he is glad that Bolasie has signed for the Blues, but says he wants to play every game.
Mirallas says, “I’m very happy because if you want to win trophies you need good players, and he’s a good player.
“He’s difficult to play against because when you play against Everton you always play well.
“The last few games against Crystal Palace weren’t easy but now I’m happy because he plays for Everton.
“With the new manager we change formation but when all the players are fit I think he’ll play with four at the back and two wingers.
“Yannick is able to play left, right or forward, the same as me and Geri, so it’s a tough option for the manager.
“For me after the last season I want to play every game. This season is important for me and I hope it’s better than last season.”
