Coleman has missed the start of the season through injury and was seen in a cast on the opening day of the season as Everton drew against Spurs, but Keane reckons he may even play for Ireland during the break.
“Seamus Coleman and John O’Shea joined in training this morning and worked well, so we’ll see how they get on, especially after the flight,” said Keane.
“It’s not ideal that Seamus has had only a couple of pre-season friendlies. But if he gets through the next few days of work, he has a chance of playing.
“I think John is going to be okay, we’ll see about Seamus. They’ll play if they are ready.”
James McCarthy, however, requires an operation to help an injured groin.
McCarthy missed Everton’s win over Stoke last weekend with Ronald Koeman saying afterwards that he may require surgery.
