The former Crystal Palace man scored his first goal in some style and looked to have put Everton in the drivers seat against Burnley yesterday, only to see his side concede a late winner for the home side.
“Obviously we’re disappointed not to come out of the game with any points,” said Bolasie.
“I scored today so personally I’m delighted to get off the mark but the reality is we didn’t get any points and personally as a player you always want to get out of the game with something.
“We went to Man City and dug in deep and people probably thought we should have lost that game. Today, if you look at it we should have won but we end up taking no points so I guess we’ve just got to dust ourselves down and move on to the next game.
“For me personally, confidence is a massive thing in my game.
“The manager says he wants more from the attackers around Rom [Lukaku] and today I’ve got one and I’m lucky.”
