Pardew managed Bolasie at Palace and knows his strengths as well as anyone and says that the DR Congo international can be even stronger when he returns from injury.
Bolasie injured his ACL in the game against Manchester United last weekend and Pardew says that Everton will miss him in and around the squad.
Pardew said: “I had some contact with ‘Yala’ this week and sent our condolences about his injury.
“He is such a buoyant character. They’ll miss him – miss him in the dressing room and miss his play.
“He’s a super character and he’ll get his head around it and get himself back stronger than ever.”
