The Bosnian was interviewed on EvertonTV and said that he is close to a return to fitness and is thankful of the support he has been shown by Evertonians.
“I feel really good here,” said Besic.
“The fans, I think they like me! When I go to the stadium or on social media they are always giving me support and that gives me confidence to work every day.
“It’s now around five and a half months after my operation and we go from week to week to see when I’m fit but it always takes between six and eight months.
“So I speak every day with the medical staff and the coach and hopefully in about a month or so [I’ll be back]”
“I want to progress even more and I want to train with the team.
“I’m looking forward to it.”
