The Ivorian striker has been told he can leave the Blues by Ronald Koeman and Sky Sports News claim he will sign for Palace until the end of the season.
It is believed there will be no replacement brought in this evening as Koeman is happy with Enner Valencia as back up to Romelu Lukaku.
Kone has played over 60 games for Everton and his most memorable will be the hat-trick against Sunderland at Goodison Park and the goal at West Brom which sparked a comeback from 2-0 down to win 3-2.
