Everton striker Arouna Kone will be allowed to leave the club if a suitable offer comes in for him before tomorrow evening’s transfer deadline.
Blues’ boss Ronald Koeman said that he has had offers for Kone, but didn’t state whether it was the club or the player who rejected them.
Koeman said that Kone wants to play football but is down the pecking order at Goodison Park and will be allowed to leave.
“It is possible he will leave,” Koeman said as quoted by the Echo.
“I don’t know (if it will be before the window), he is training and doing well but he likes to play… we have used other player than Arouna.
“I have had some offers for him.”
