The Blues’ forward is Everton’s top scorer this season and says that the new signings already done this month add quality to the squad, but that he hopes there can be more competition for places as the Blues look to finish the season strongly.
“It’s going to be really difficult but it’s a nice challenge, that’s why you play football,” he said.
“At the moment it’s about delivering on the pitch.
“It’s not something we did for the first six months of the season.
“Hopefully we can turn it around with the new transfers we have done and hopefully a few more players come in and add competition to the squad.
“We will see what happens We’ve had new players and hopefully a few more come in.”
