The teenager signed from Charlton in the January transfer window and made an immediate impact on his debut, scoring against Manchester City in the Blues’ rout over them.
Lookman said that he felt the trip away helped him feel even more like part of the team, and says he hopes to develop into a better player with Everton.
“I got to know them and they got to know me,” he said.
“I’ve only just joined in January and I feel like I’m even more part of the team now, which is good.
“It takes some adapting but I’ve been doing that on the training pitch every single day.
“I’ve adapted well and with time I’ll adapt even more and become better as a player.”
