The young Evertonian said that as he was growing up and coming through the academy he was aware of the stars at Everton who had their own chants, including Duncan Ferguson and Mikel Arteta.
Now he has his own chant, celebrating his Scouse heritage and labelling him a “diamond” which he says is the best feeling any player can have.
“As an Everton fan coming through the Academy, sometimes as a ballboy, you see and hear the fans making songs for players – Mikel Arteta had a song, Big Dunc had a song and then for me to have one is a dream,” he said
“Hearing all the fans chanting your name is the best feeling you can have as a player.”
