Everton midfielder Tom Cleverley is one step closer to making his loan move to Watford permanent after making his 8th appearance for the Hornets yesterday.
A clause in the loan deal states that once Cleverley has made 9 appearances for Watford, the deal becomes permanent and the Hornets must pay a fee to Everton.
The fee is believed to be around £6m, which would represent a significant profit on the fee paid by Roberto Martinez when he signed Cleverley from Manchester United in 2015 on a free transfer.
