The Blues didn’t really need to get out second gear for the second week in a row at Goodison Park but Koeman said that he wasn’t happy with the final pass from some of his players.
“Another clean sheet and another three points,” said Koeman.
“But, our final pass today was terrible.”
On bringing Dominic Calvert-Lewin into the side, the manager said, ‘Kevin [Mirallas] wasn’t available today and you have to make changes.
“The boy is working well, he’s back from his ankle injury and he knows how to play on the left side.
“He showed his quality.
“He’s 20, and you need to give the boys a chance which he took and he scored his first goal.
“In the team, we know with Rom we have a high top scorer in the team but you need more goals from the rest of the team.
“If you score more goals from a high number of players then it makes your job easier.”
