Barkley was named Man of the Match by the Premier League sponsors and will feel that he should have got on the scoresheet himself after almost rounding Casper Schmeichel.
“It was entertaining today,” said Ross.
“The big man [Lukaku] was on fire today and we got three points which was the main thing.
“We stuck at it and we knew we had the likes of Rom and a lot of players are in top form at the minute.
“Even though we went behind we stuck at it and came away with three points.
“I’m enjoying it at the minute, getting the chance to get in the box and create chances.
“We expected more from ourselves in the big games but we’ve gone away and worked hard.
“We put a shift in on Wednesday and we’ve got the three points today.”
