Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has said that he has Ronald Koeman to thank for being on the verge of being crowned top scorer in the Premier League this season.
Admitting to not always being easy to work with, Lukaku says that Koeman has taken him to the next level and that he always wants to help the team win.
“I’m very happy. I want to thank the manager for pushing me, even though sometimes I’m not always an easy guy,” Lukaku said at The Dixie’s awards ceremony.
“He’s taken me to the next level.
“As a young guy, I just try to learn every day and give my best. Sometimes there are ups and downs but it’s always with the best intentions. I want to help my team-mates win and I have tried my best this season.”
