Everton midfielder Ross Barkley could be offered as much as £140,000 a week if he moves to West Ham this summer.
The Blues’ academy product missed a deadline set by Ronald Koeman to sign a new deal with the club, but the deal is still said to be on the table should he want to stay at Goodison Park.
West Ham boss Slaven Bilic – according to the Daily Mail – is reportedly ready to offer Barkley a bumper contract to tempt him to the London Stadium, where he would be much less likely to hear the fans’ disappointed groans.
Barkley is a huge talent and would be missed at Everton, but Ronald Koeman doesn’t seem like the kind of person to go back on his word – just ask Oumar Niasse.
