Our mates over at KickOff have been at it again with the stats, this time to see how potential new signing Michael Keane compares to Everton defenders.
The Burnley man is rumoured to be joining the Blues in a £25m deal this week and as we can see, even in a Burnley side that finished below Everton, Keane managed to compare well.
He earned himself an England call up at the end of the season thanks to his solid performances, and was linked with a move to Manchester United as well as Liverpool, who he reportedly snubbed.
Everton’s head of recruitment, Steve Walsh, has long been a fan of Keane, and recommended that his former club try and sign the young defender last summer, but their bid was, thankfully, unsuccessful.
