The lads over at KickOff have compiled a lot of stats about potential new Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, who could be about to make a £30m move from Sunderland.
The young stopper has had a varied career around the lower leagues, but burst onto the scene with Sunderland last season when he was given the chance to shine in a poor, poor team. He did, and was one of very few who made any kind of positive impression as Sunderland sunk out of the Premier League under the weight of David Moyes.
But how does he stack up against Everton’s current choices between the sticks?
Joel Robles and Maarten Stekelenburg didn’t exactly set pulses racing last season – at least not for the right reasons – but would Pickford really be that much of an improvement?
We’ll let those numbers speak for themselves, and let you decide whether having Ramiro Funes Mori infront of them helped the Everton stoppers raise their stats…
