With Arsenal and Spurs leading the rumours about who will sign Everton midfielder Ross Barkley, the story goes that bids won’t come in until the end of the summer.
Barkley has a year remaining on his contract and it is believed that any clubs wanting to sign him will wait until the end of the transfer window in order to force the price down.
Barkley is said to have been offered a new contract with Everton but failed to sign it, despite very public ultimatums from Ronald Koeman at the end of last season.
