Everton have set their sights on Moussa Sissoko to replace Enner Valencia in filling the “why did we bother?” loan category.
Sissoko was linked with a £30m move to Goodison Park on deadline day last summer although there was some doubt over whether a move was ever on the cards as Sissoko spent much of the day in London.
Late in the day he moved to Spurs for £30m but failed to make an impression on the White Hart Lane first team.
Now, he is linked with a loan move to Everton despite Spurs wanting to get rid of him on a permanent basis.
