Everton forward Kevin Mirallas says that losing Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United is just one of those things.
Mirallas says that his countryman scored plenty of goals for the Blues, but that Everton have signed plenty of players who are more than capable of replacing Lukaku’s goals.
It speaks volumes about Lukaku that the only Everton player to wish him well has been Yannick Bolasie, who would wish a camera well if it meant he’d be filmed for social media.
Mirallas said, “Everyone knows Romelu scored a lot of goals for Everton.
“He was so important in the last four seasons.
“But we have added a lot of players to the squad who have the possibility to score 10 or 15 goals.
“If five or six players score 10 goals, that is better than one Romelu. That is important.
“He has gone to United; that is life.
“I think Everton is better.”
