Koeman wants two more strikers

koeman EvertonEverton boss Ronald Koeman says he wants two more strikers to join the Blues before the end of the summer transfer window.

Koeman watched his side limp to a 2-0 aggregate win over Ruzomberok to set up a play off tie with Hadjuk Split in the Europa League with an alarming lack of firepower.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, finally played in his correct position, scored Everton’s goal last night, but Koeman says he wants more in.

He said: “We need two more front players because if you count the players and count the numbers, we lost somebody and we brought somebody in.

“We like more competition and that explanation is not so difficult.”
